Your Journey

Every stage brings new questions.

We help your child understand what comes next, so every decision feels less unfamiliar.

This stage is led by your child's university.

Typical uncertainty

“We got in. Now what actually happens next?”

Our guidance

We introduce ourselves and share a plain-language First 30 Days Guide so the family knows what's coming.

This stage remains with your family's attorney.

Typical uncertainty

“The paperwork is with the attorney, but what about the interview itself?”

Our guidance

We walk your child through what the conversation typically feels like, so they arrive prepared rather than rehearsed.

Typical uncertainty

“What should we pack, carry, avoid, and what should we expect on landing?”

Our guidance

A prep call with the whole family. We explain packing, forex, CBP realities, and the shape of the first evening, so nothing is a surprise.

Typical uncertainty

“I've landed. Where do I go, and who do I call if something feels off?”

Our guidance

Your child knows exactly who to reach on WhatsApp, what questions to ask, and how to make the first decisions of the day without guessing.

This is where VentureNest begins guiding your family.

Typical uncertainty

“Too many decisions at once. Which ones matter first?”

Our guidance

We help your child understand which bank, which carrier, and which lease terms are worth attention, they still visit and sign, but with clarity.

This is where VentureNest begins guiding your family.

Typical uncertainty

“Do I go to the ER, urgent care, or the campus health center? What about SSN, ITIN, clubs?”

Our guidance

We help your child understand how each system works and where to go for what, and send parents the first honest monthly update.

This is where VentureNest begins guiding your family.

Typical uncertainty

“The semester is on. Who do I talk to when a new question shows up?”

Our guidance

A real person on WhatsApp, all semester. Bi-weekly private wellbeing check-ins. Renewal guidance if you want it.

Phase 01 · Before the flight

Prepared, together, before your child boards.

For your child

  • A prep call with your child, and any parent who would like to be on the line
  • Cultural walkthrough, what daily American life actually looks like
  • Packing, forex, and card guidance so they arrive with the right mix
  • What to expect at US immigration, in plain language

For the family

One family call so everyone meets us, asks their questions, and hears the plan for the first week, before your child steps into an airport.

The visa itself belongs to your family's attorney. We simply make sure your child walks in prepared.

Phase 02 · Arrival day

The first evening in America, calm, planned, understood.

For your child

  • Temporary stay booked and confirmed before boarding
  • Someone we trust meeting your child on arrival
  • A first meal, a shower, and rest, that is the whole day
  • A short message to you the moment they are settled

For the family

A WhatsApp note when your child lands, and again when they are in for the night. So you know they are safe, without having to ask.

Phase 03 · The first month

SIM, bank, housing, orientation, sequenced so nothing waits.

For your child

  • US SIM at T-Mobile or AT&T by end of day two
  • Student checking account at Chase or Bank of America, walked in in person
  • Housing search from our vetted network, with every lease reviewed before signing
  • Campus orientation, groceries, essentials, and the first week's meals sorted

For the family

A photo when the apartment is set up, if your child is comfortable sharing it. Small things that make the ocean feel smaller.

The SSN application is a Social Security Administration process. We guide your child through it, we do not file it on their behalf.

Phase 04 · The semester rhythm

The unglamorous work that decides the first year.

For your child

  • Unlimited WhatsApp access, all semester
  • Bi-weekly private wellbeing check-ins
  • Budgeting basics and money-management apps
  • Health insurance, pharmacy, and campus safety orientation

For the family

A monthly WhatsApp update, a short, honest message about how your child is settling in. No templated reports, no marketing language.

Phase 05 · Beyond the first year

Renewal, next steps, and staying in the picture.

For your child

  • Housing renewal or switch planning at the right time
  • Community-college cost strategy where it makes sense
  • Scholarship and financial-aid search for F1 students
  • Second-year mentorship, quieter, but still there

For the family

By now the rhythm is established. Communication moves to the pace your family prefers.

Tax preparation (Form 1040-NR, Sprintax, ITIN) belongs to a licensed preparer. We help your child understand what to bring, we do not file for them.
